Saif Fadhel Al Hameli, Chief, Facilities and Construction for Abu Dhabi Health Services Company PJSC (SEHA) commented on Al Mafraq Hospital’s win, “We thank the selection committee for their recognition. We are of course, very pleased to have both of our projects, the new Mafraq Hospital and the new Al Ain Hospital, shortlisted for the competition. To then have Mafraq selected as the Best Sustainable Hospital Project is most gratifying. We have worked very hard with our partners Burt Hill and the Project Manager, Allen & Shariff. Special thanks to all on our SEHA team, Bumrungrad International and the Mafraq Hospital Team involved to create a project that would not only provide a world class healing environment focusing on patients but would also be sensitive to our physical and cultural environment.”
The awards trophies for the Hospital Build Awards were presented by His Excellency Khalid Al Shaikh Mubarak, CEO of Shared Support Services Sector at the Dubai Health Authority, at the Hospital Build Middle East Exhibition & Congress 2010.
